The Perry D. Palmer Photograph Album includes 28 commercial photographs taken in Alaska between 1903 and 1913 by Frank Nowell. Subjects include mining activities on the Seward Peninsula as well as Alaska Natives in traditional costume, reindeer herding, roadhouses, dog teams and ships. The photographs also include images of street scenes and buildings in Nome, Teller, Deering and Dutch Harbor as well as scenic locations such as Taku Glacier and Cape Prince of Wales.
